Böllhoff acquires business operations of Stöger Automation
With effect from 1 April 2026, we have taken over the business operations of Stöger Automation GmbH.
A broader portfolio of technologies for our customers
Through the acquisition, we expand our portfolio in the field of joining technology to include screwdriving technology and flow-drill insertion systems. With over 35 years’ experience in the market, Stöger Automation from Königsdorf, Bavaria, is an experienced specialist in screwdriving, insertion, riveting and feeding technology. The company will be integrated into the Böllhoff Group as an independent associated company.
Site in Bavaria stays open, synergies with Böllhoff Systemtechnik arise
The Stöger site in Königsdorf will remain in operation, thereby securing around 70 jobs in Bavaria. Stöger’s existing customer relationships and expertise will be seamlessly continued.
Within the Böllhoff Group, Stöger will in future work closely with Böllhoff Systemtechnik, our business unit specialising in automated processing systems for a wide variety of fasteners. This collaboration creates synergies both sides will benefit from. In the medium term, this is expected to drive growth in the whole area of Setting Technology at Böllhoff Group, with all customers benefiting from an even broader range of services.
