Rivet nuts for secure connections

The knurling on the shank of the nut digs itself into the mounting material when it is pushed in and creates a mechanical form fit that can absorb even high torques.

Method and principle

Overview of rivet nuts

Working principle

Self-riveting nuts are characterized by a knurl on the rivet side / on a shaft with a reduced diameter. This can be pulled into a component via axial compression – using a press-in tool or the force exerted during installation. The established form fit ensures subsequent one-sided installation and enables the absorption of high torques.

Material

Available in steel and stainless steels.

Surfaces

Our products can be coated with different surface finishes, depending on requirements and application. We will be pleased to give you individual advice on the right coating system.

We offer the following surfaces as standard:

  • Plain
