Do you need further support?

Welcome to our FAQ section. Here you can find answers to the most common situations you may face in practice.
  • No, the components do not need to be additionally treated for punching or welding. 

  • Yes, several aluminium layers can be punched at once. 

  • Since the element is additionally hardened, it can be installed in steel layers, provided that thickness and strength are suitable.

  • Yes; the top layer is not formed during a mere punching process. Even near the flange edge, no material damage is initiated. 

  •  If there is possible contact with corrosive media, common measures for corrosion protection and sealing must be taken.

  • Depending on the joining task, in most cases, the maximum shape change is realised in the weaker joining part. With a comparable element size, the joint characteristic values are the same or even higher. 

  • Depending on the required installations per year, we recommend to use a portable hand-held setting tool (can be combined with RIVSET® semi-tubular rivets) or a stationary automatic system.
