Volunteering together - doing good together

Böllhoff employees stand in a circle and place one hand on top of the other

In addition to state and private economic and social systems, our world needs the personal commitment of as many people as possible. Böllhoff has been promoting this voluntary commitment since 2010 and has launched the "Volunteering together" initiative for this purpose.

Living social responsibility

The clubs, institutions and activities that our employees support in their free time are as diverse as our employees themselves. We not only want to acknowledge this important social commitment, we also want to provide practical help with our corporate initiative "Volunteering together". To this end, we support the social work of our employees with additional donations. Over the past 14 years, we have been able to support numerous projects in line with our motto "doing good together". "Volunteering together" deliberately does not focus on a specific topic - diversity is important. This can also be seen in the now long list of projects we support, which ranges from projects with educational institutions or sports clubs to a wide variety of charity events and fundraising campaigns to refugee aid. Here we present 5 practical examples from recent years:

"Voluntary work is an important pillar of social life. That's why we are proud of our employees, many of whom take on important tasks - for example in clubs and associations, schools or the volunteer fire department."

Application made easy

Any employee who is committed to a social project can easily apply for our financial support. All they need to do is send an email to the company management with a brief description of their commitment and the purpose of the donation. The company management meets regularly and discusses the applications received. The selected projects are then supported with up to 500 euros.
