15 years of "Blue Pages"
The development of a price range for the strong brand as "Manual of Fastening Technology"
The "yellow pages" represent the epitome of what a complete search directory for telephone numbers should be: this must have been the inspiration behind the corporate management and marketing decision to create the Böllhoff "Blue Pages".
And it was a pioneering decision. Unlike before, the Böllhoff catalogue became the entire industry's precursor and example for the layout and contents of a range and price list. The "Blue Pages" also made a big impact internally because it was the first time own brands were included and completely catalogued.
They started out in a separate volume and then became part of the complete catalogue with their own sections.
The "Blue Pages" have since grown: New ranges, a variety of useful product descriptions and a technical appendix which sums up the "Manual of Fastening Technology" booklet well. 2007 – the 10th edition came out in time for its 15th anniversary. It includes more new ranges, contents and updated DIN/ISO designations

There are clear signals from coating and manufacturing companies that coating capacity is rapidly being transferred from DACROMET® to the Cr(VI)-free replacement product GEOMET®.
