2011 Works Outing – Schalke and "ZOOM Erlebniswelt"
On 23 July 2011 the 2011 works outing kicked off in two groups. In
the first, four coaches set off for the Veltins-Arena stadium, where a
visit to the museum had been scheduled. For around an hour both young
and old learned all about the history of the football club FC Schalke
04. Next on the agenda was a trip to Gelsenkirchen's zoo – the so-called
"ZOOM-Erlebniswelt". The six other coaches in the second group had
meanwhile gone there direct.
The zoo is made up of the Alaska, Africa and Asia worlds of adventure. This means visitors can go round the world in a single day – so living up to ZOOM's motto.
Each of the three areas has its own special highlights, be it a boot trip in Africa, the underwater tunnel in Alaska or the Tropical Paradise in Asia. But that's not all: the animal enclosures were also quite something in terms of size and facilities. And the weather smiled on us until our return: it did not start to rain until the coaches headed off home.
Christmas market 2009 – Something hot and something cold
Also in 2009 the traditional Christmas market in the barn had the motto “something hot and something cold”.
Freezing winterly temperatures created the seasonal atmosphere for the market and made sure that a hot drink was just the right thing to warm up hands and heart.
This inspired many of our employees to use the pre-Christmas get-together to end the year 2009 on a happy note with mulled wine and bratwurst.
Family Day 2008 - Serengeti Park
The Family Day 2008 will be a works outing. On 16 August 2008 all our employees and their families are invited to the Serengeti Park, Hodenhagen.
Family Day 2007 - Our Jubilee year
The 130-year anniversary of the Böllhoff Group was celebrated with a Family Day at the Bielefeld site on 18 September 2007.
Profit-Sharing Arrangement - Retirement fund
In 2007 the shareholders, advisory committee and top management of the Böllhoff Group decided that a share of profits should go towards financing a company retirement fund established for the benefit of the employees of Böllhoff Group Germany.
- Create motivation because motivated employees are vital to company success.
- Create sources of motivation for all employees.
- Encourage employees to invest in their company retirement fund.
- Make the company attractive for job applicants.
Our employees benefit from the success of the Böllhoff Group and thereby invest in their personal retirement fund.
