Locking of assembly components for passenger cars

The system component consists of six parts (spring, die, adjusting pin, guide washer, cylinder pin and O-ring). All production steps are realised by Böllhoff - ranging from development and construction to manufacturing and automatic assembly.

Application examples

Locking of assembly components

Locking of assembly components serves for adjusting manual shifting in cars. It allows adjusting the length of the actuation cable between gearshift lever and gear box. Oil tightness is achieved with the parts geometry and the use of an O-ring that is checked upon automatic assembly via video monitoring.

TEPRO® / assembly components headlight fastening

The fastening element consists of a snap nut and a banjo bolt. Both parts have the Böllhoff-specific K' in K' round thread - the internal and the external thread.
The banjo bolt is pre-assembled when supplied to the customer. For fastening the headlight, a metal screw is afterwards inserted through the brass pipe and screwed to the automotive body. Deviations in dimension can be compensated at the mounting hole.
