Vacuum or magnetic bit

The head of the screw is being fixed at the end of a slim tube via vacuum. Now the tube is set in motion towards the screw point. Through the tube, the screw driver reaches the screw and drives it into the screw point. At the end of this procedure the vacuum is switched off and the next screw is being fed to the nozzle. This technique is especially helpful for screw points located in narrow, low positioned environments, since the diameter of the vacuum tube is hardly any wider than the diameter of the screw head. Moreover, the vacuum valve is located directly at the tube and therefore sees to even higher efficiency, since the switching on and off of the vacuum takes hardly any time. Stationary driving units are especially flexible concerning the depth of the screw point, when they are working with the vacuum tube. By blowing itself clean after each driving process, the tube minimizes the risk of interferences due to micro pollution.
In order to reach low positioned screw points even with hand-held driving units, Böllhoff combines their system with a magnetic bit. Here the screw is also fixed at the bit, until it has reached the screw point. The screw driver UNIQUICK® Advance is especially suitable in combination with the magnetic bit, because it ensures the correct stroke.
Both systems are also useful in overhead environments because the screw cannot fall back into the nozzle.
