UNIQUICK® Stepfeeder
The conveyor belt leading from the hopper to an intermediate storage bowl can be tilted at an angle between 25° and 45°. This technology simplifies the process of feeding screws and fasteners to a screw driving unit immensely and sees to greatly increased process reliability.
The conveyor belt is made of very coarse material, so that the screws cling to it. Plastic segments lift-up the fasteners from the storage bowl onto a linear guiding rail, which continues to move them towards the separation. At the end of the process the fasteners are being shot via air pressure into the nozzle of the driving unit one by one.
This optimized technology will be especially helpful in the transportation and feeding of very long screws and fasteners which tend to cling together in a bunch. The lift-up conveyor turns out to be very convincing, due to its process reliability and its large capacity of up to 20 kilograms of material to be fed to the driving unit. In addition, each component is covered with the best possible noise-reducing surface coverage, making it a comfortably quiet work-mate. The lift-up technology sees to the gentle transportation of the material, maintaining the quality of the screws and fasteners during the feeding process.
