MEPLAG® - Plastic/metal moulded parts
MEPLAG® combines the stability of metallic threads with the benefits of plastics.
Yet the great diversity of possible variations in form and colour with respect to the final product to equip can be taken advantage of to a more rational extend for plastics than for full-metal parts. Another advantage are corrosion resistance and the capability of electrical insulation. On the other hand there is the high stability of a metal external or holding hole.
Actuating screws or nuts with good grip in ergonomic design are increasingly used in aerospace, in automotive and mechanical engineering, in the electronics and domestic appliances industry as well as in series or individual production of sporting equipment, toys or furniture.
In cooperation with our customer we develop and manufacture plastic-injected metal thread parts for batch sizes suitable for production.
Apart from that we make precision moulded parts from thermoplastics - also as metal injections (insert technology) in cooperation with our customer or according to drawings and samples.
